Pu'er Tea: The Tea That Gets Better with Age Unlike most teas, Pu'er tea continues to evolve over time. Some aged teas are treasured by collectors and can be stored for decades, much like fine wine. For over a thousand years, tea from Yunnan traveled along the Ancient Tea Horse Road, connecting China with Tibet and Southeast Asia.

Interesting Facts Originated in Yunnan. Some tea trees are over 1,000 years old. Pu'er tea can be aged for decades. Traditionally compressed into tea cakes.
